Show Services & Fees
• Show Prep
This service includes a mane pull/trim, tail trim, and clipping of muzzle, ears, bridle path, legs, and a full bath.

• Trainer Day Fee
This service includes coordinating horse show entries, arranging your horse’s transportation to and from the show, packing and unpacking tack and equipment, schooling of horse and rider, trainer show rides, and coaching of the rider for classes.
$50/day (multiple day shows; or for riders competing in non-jumping classes at single day shows)
$75/day (single day shows)
• School Horse Day Lease
For students in our Riding School program that would like to day lease a school horse to take to a show.
$50/day (for students participating in non jumping classes)
$75/day (for students participating in jumping classes)
• Grooming
Includes: feeding, watering and cleaning the horses stall; bathing, grooming, tacking and un-tacking the animal; show ring touch ups, lunging, hand walking, and bandaging legs.
$50/day
• Braiding
Mandatory for horses competing in the “A” rated Hunter and Equitation divisions.
Billed at Cost (charged on an as needed basis; typically braids should be redone each day that the horse competes)
• Bedding
Will be purchased at the horse show and the cost divided by the number of horses attending the show.
• Hay/Supplemental Feed
Currently Spirit Equestrian allows horses boarded at the facility to take the animal’s normal hay rations to the show with them at no additional charge. Your horses regular supplemental feed will be packed up and taken to the show as well.
• Dressing Room Fees
Determined by show facility. The cost of the dressing room stall will be divided among attending clientele.
• Groom Stalls Fees
Determined by show facility. The cost of the grooming stall/s will be divided by the number of horses attending the show.
• Show Setup
A show tent and furniture will be provided for your comfort at show venues where the space and time warrants. The cost of any additional materials needed for the show setup (such as bark chips and sod) will be divided among attending clientele.
• Hotel Accommodations
Hotel fees for out of town shows requiring the trainer and groom to stay in a hotel will be divided among attending clientele.

Rates vary according to the location of the show. (Round trip payment is due prior to shipping your horse to the show)
